Hah, that's pretty cool. What machine did you have playing through the projector?

I've got a Wii, saving up for a 360 and Gears Of War. Being a massive Nintendo fanboy it's a bit unusual wanting an XBox, but you know... credit where credit's due, they got some stuff almost right. Namely Gears Of War.

We were only playing through a PS2, but it was still pretty cool.

My friend lived in a barn and whenever he had a get together there was a sheet on one wall with a projector linked up to a pc on. awesome for UT04 and postal and anything really, great idea

except projectors are usually really feckin expensive

yeah especially if you want to get a hd quality one, hence why im happy enough with my tv!

i have gears of war and i dont understand why there is such a hype about it theres nothing really that groundbreaking in it. I find rainbow six: Vegas is much better especially when it comes to online play, hands down best game on xbox live for me!!

Haha yes! Playing Pro Evo on a huge projector is awesome! The players are bigger than you!

Finally got round to giving Gears Of War a good run out after pissing about with NHL2K7 for the last two weeks. What a fab game it is. The graphics, sound, athmosphere are all great (i almost pooped myself first time i cam across a berzerker!!). Even finding cover comes as second nature once you get used to it. Gonna go on xbox live tonight and get my ass kicked at it. You've got to start somewhere

The berzerkers are pretty cool and indeed kack yer pants material, but not as bad as when you first come across the Corpser which is just huge...

Still getting my ass handed to me on a plate at the end of the game though

The Corpser was pretty imposing but surprisingly easy to brush off, but i am only playing it on casual at the moment. Playing online was pretty shitty though. I was totally taken to the cleaners
