Probably the wrong thing to say on here but i'd like it more if they re-did/mastered it so the amps weren't mic'd up with a toiet bowl inbetween them.

Bestial Devastation was better. (guitars weren't quite as thick on Morbid Visions)
They couldn't afford a kick pedal early on, so Igor would have to kick the drums instead. And the photo of Max and Igor with Wagner Antichrist when they were 13,....

I agree. I reckon Morbid Visions would be killer without the bad production.

MORBID VISIONS RULES YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!
People saying that Sepultura have "way better thrash albums" or that it's "not as thrashy as Schizohprenia" are totally missing the point, which Bill summed up well: "bestial, evil and intense"!
Fair point - I think it has at least as much spark of originality; basically equally good for me, production issues aside
Damn, so what the hell does it say then?!

Maybe for the first few songs, but I can never remember what songs come after Crucifixion. And never saw what was so special about Troops of Doom either (Mayhem was better.).

Yeah, why do so many bands cover Troops of Doom?! It's good, but not stellar.
It's about time I listened to Bestial Devastation/Morbid Visions actually...

I think the later version of Troops of Doom was actually better.
And maybe he DOES says 'Dirrrty fucker', I just thought it was more likely to be 'Dead defiler' or something like that. Should probably check up...
