Why is it that if for instance Darkthrone release summat awful sounding it gets praised and when Metallica do it then it get's slated? St.Anger was the shit, a total fuckin' racket. Best one yet.

That was said by Annal Nathrakhfgdjjjnu about 2 years ago in Terrorizer. I seem to remember it was a Hard of Hearing and there was a big quote that said 'Darkthrone Metallica'. Coincidence? Probably. Anyway, Darkthrone write songs....

I was reading a copy of KICK ASS zine from 84 just the other day which had an interview with Mr Turbin in it just after his departure from anthrax. Here is what he had to say back then. :

"my leaving anthrax was a long time coming. Anthrax should have been a team effort which was never possible, considering that Scott Ian (Rosenfield) consistently wanted to be recognized as Anthrax. Instead of Anthrax being publicised as a whole unit, we were publicised as the Scott Ian Band. Very few pictures or interviews of Anthrax as a band have ever been printed in any magazines / fanzines.Every one was and is Scott Ian"
