Stop it Pat! dont be a bloody mad man, of course we are causing global climate change by living as an industrial society. its completely mental to try and pretend that our actions over the last 100 years haven't effected the environment. sure there could well be other factors in the temperature of the earth changing over long periods of time (ice ages etc), but all science has proven - beyond a shadow of doubt - that what we are doing is rapidly increasing this, un-naturally.

its really rubbish that we have to pay extra on stuff, and i certainly don't believe its going towards correcting climate change and that sort of thing. BUT its a waste of time to get so wound up about it, if you want to make a positive change then put that effort into something meaningful. complaining never gets anything done, being proactive is the only way to make a change.

The VAT rise is mental, there is actual real proof that people's spending went up by million of bloody pounds when the VAT rate went down to 15%, I don't get what their bloody mental problem is. Bloomin' christ. Maybe it was just a ploy to make people go mad and buy a million things over christmas.
