I'll give you the entire plot, in the future emotions are banned and that is enforced by gun-ninja police.

Nothing like Batman or anything like that. Something that has always bugged me about Batman is how they seemingly drift in between the 1930s and the modern day. I like Sci Fi as much as the next man but I wouldn't say Batman's Sci Fi, so...
