Theres about a million games I need to complete before I die, mostly from the good old speccy days. Exolon, Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Head Over Heels, Knight Lore, Atic Atac. etc

When games where fucking hard.

I used to spend hours on that, and then end up throwing the controller at the console thus freezing it all. Bloody frustration. Like hitting a or c or whatever the button was and doing your special move when you didn't want to. Or not timing the double jump right and missing a log on the waterfall! Arrrgh!

I could never get past the freeway level, I kept falling down. It really did make me cry may times, that game. But it was amazing.

On Friday I completed Jordon on Expert on Guitar Hero 2, now I've done all the songs I'm happy. GH3 is gonna be amazing, Raining Blood!!!

Guitar Hero is the worst thing ever. Woo! I can almost play Bark At the Moon on expert - big deal! Why don't you try learning it on an actual guitar!

But not about super-awesome shoot 'em ups. I still play GoldenEye on my wee brother's N64 from time-to-time just so I can shoot Natalia in the face eight times.

Besides, organising games of football and bouts of organised violence is a pain in the knackers. Plus, how many of us can honestly say they could play football for 3 hours a night the way we could when we were 13? I'd most likely turn up, run about for less than ten minutes then say 'fuck it' and go to the off license. Although my guitar skills have also suffered from heavy boozing, I can at least still play without needing an oxygen supply on standby.

All this is irrelevant any way. You'd all be destroyed if you played me at Tekken 5.
