wouldnt mind a read of that, just hope it adds more to the similar book that was released a few years back that covered a lot of the history of this scene (choosing death : the improbable history of death and grindcore).

Looks good and written by Ian Glasper,who at the time released some great stuff on his blackfish label.

I haven't read the others yet (one on early punk and on anarcho-punk). I'd be inclined to read the anarcho-punk one first. They're pretty big books, though.
Glasper rules. I quite liked the Suicide Watch album and he always reviews good shit for Terrorizer. Except the metalcore bits. Similar to Blackfish - some of the stuff on there was a bit too metalcore-y but some of it was wicked. The HC tribute to Thrash was grand. And he played with Flux a while back - win!

I've not got this yet, but 'Burning Britain' & 'The Day The Country Died' are both excellent reads. Anything that Ian Glasper is involved in is gonna be good. He's working on a 4th book now, about UK thrash & death metal.
