I'm a wuss. The only thing remotely painful was when I was at the front at Exodus, and proceeded to Headbang straight into Rob Dukes knee.

I'm a bit of a wuss at gigs too - I usually blame my glasses for not going into the pit... *cough*

I remember at exodus in bradford, some tosser got onto the stage and got shoved full force back in to the crowd by fatboy rob dukes.. priceless..

I've never had any major injuries at gigs, mainly just stuff like getting kicked in the head by stupid bastard crowdsurfers :wall:

One time at a gig (might have been Exodus or something) i was stood opposite our bassist and we were headbanging and we full on headbutted each other. It was pretty painful. Oh and another time somewhere I accidently punched Andy in the face while headbanging... I'm pretty sure he got me back though

I can top that. One time, at a Marilyn Manson gig, some bitch turned me into a newt!

...
I got better.

It's okay, he probably thought you were trying to kiss his feet. Which is totally cool and not gay, because he's Rob fucking Dukes.

But seriously, one time when I saw Slayer live, they set a nuke off in the crow and destroyed an entire city. How I survived I don't know.

Yeah, I was at that one. The force knocked me over and I scraped my knee. Probably my worst gig inury, actually.

This actually reminds me of my younger days when I went to se Earthtone9 and I hadn't been pitting all night because everyone there was even younger than I was and were being really pathetic in their pit antics. I was really pissing me off. So, E9 get to their last song and mention something about how they're splitting up soon and won't be playing London again or some shit and that this woud be their last song. In my frustation I decided I was going to go crazy and get the moshing proper good time violent. I was in the pit for all of about 30 seconds before some grown man Dad who had brought his fucking 13 year old son to the gig dragged me out the pit and started chastising me and telling me to calm down! I didn't know what was going on. Anyway, I apologised and patted him on the shoulder to show no harm meant and the fuckr took it as an opportunity to hug me! Metal brothers or some shit  . All in all a shit night. Probably the worst injury just for the mental scarring.

Ben Ward from Orange Goblin stood on my hair when I was head banging in front of the stage. More an hilarity than an injury.

I've also broken my glasses on numerous occasions. I really should take them off or get contacts.

Once at a judas priest concert I came onto the stage on my harley and managed to drive straight into a metal bar knocking myself both off the bike and out. The band carried on without my and Glen actually stepped on me cos he couldn't see me through the dry ice... oh wait, that wasn't me.

I did once fall off the stage a break my ankle whilst pratting about on stage with Iron Maiden though... oh yeah, wasn't me either.

That was the best sentence in all of what you just wrote.

I'm also a bit of a pussy when it comes to 'moshing' and all sorts at gigs. I could use my glasses as an excuse too... and I shall. But generally I just prefer to stand and headbang and enjoy myself without beating other people up. Saying all that, I did thoroughly enjoy the mini-pits at the rage gigs. I don't think I've had any serious injuries from anything before though. I hurt my nose once, but that's just because it's so big. Also, once at a Slayer gig (Tattoo the Planet it was) Raining Blood made me bang my head so hard my glasses flew off, and somehow another boy found them and kindly gave them back to me. How lovely.

Hmm I don't remember that, but I remember a guy appearing out of nowhere and diving straight into the crowd at Kreator last month, took about 4 people down with him!

I got a fat lip in the Municipal Waste pit last night, swelling's gone down a bit now

My mum loves Donny Osmond, and told me about back in the 70's at Osmond gigs, girls used to slam on the door chanting "We want the Osmonds." I can imagine that happening at Slayer gigs with fans headbutting the door chanting "SLAYER! SLAYER!"
