Not really. Both are supremely talented but they (well, Burton anyway) have hit a comfort zone so just need to stay away from each other.

Alice iN wONDERLAND WAS ENJOYABLE INDEED. Whoops, caps lock was on. yes I enjoyed it. Johnny Depp is so marvellous. It was a little bit horrible, but generally it was rather good indeed. Now I need to see Crazy Heart and Shutter Island and The Girl With The Dragon Tings.

Look at how amazing this new Italian Robin Hood poster is.

i watched alice in wonderland with my girlfriend in a mall cinema in manilla in phillipines for £2. BARGAIN considering it was the pimped out,luxury row and with the 3d glasses and a complementary hotdog and drink.i enjoyed the movie.pretty magical and i suppose,if it was £10-£15 in england and didnt turn out to be half decent,maybe i would have called it shite. how can you not enjoy it at £2.also it why should it cost different amounts in each country? typical rip off britain.another bonus over there,is once paid for,you can sit in there and watch it again and again for until you get bored.handy if you fell asleep the first time as you can watch the bits you missed out on.

Alice in Wonderland was average. Story line ok. Depp and Bonham-Carter both pretty darn good. Rest of the actors fine (another mention goes to Matt Lucas). Just not all that.
