I HATE most the shit on Rucktion, just epitomises all the things wrong with 'Hatebreed music'.

Aye but they were really good. Really fucking intense. However, they are not really in the same vein as the other bands mentioned though...

Indeed Mudulla fucking killed live, old fatty is called Jammer by the way. Paul was such an intense vocalist back then. I still wear my old 'all our friends are dead' shirt sometimes.

Medulla weren't really UKHC but they did smack it and paul was safe enough to answer an email I sent to him years ago (I think I was still in school).

Does anyone know the state of play with murder one? last I heard they were recording an album in japan or something (typed this before actually checking tinternet)
Now just Nick :)

Speaking of ripcord, the Violent Arrest - S/T is fucking brilliant too.

Want cool UKHC? Pick up the Blackfish 'International Tribute To Thrash' (I think thats what its called) Mostly UKHC bands doing killer covers of thrash classics. Unites version of For Whom The Bell Tolls is the best cover ever.

^

I got the Int Tribute when I saw Stampin Ground with The Haunted about 4 years ago. It is a really cool CD but it has some problems. 1) Some songs should have been replaced with others. Assert's cover of 'Ace of Spades' is pretty cool but it ain't that Thrash really. Kind of true with Black Breath (Repulsion). 2) Linked to the first point, could have done with a wider range of Thrash acts covered. No Anthrax, Exodus or Sepultura! 3) Most the bands you wouldn't check out further than that CD. (Or maybe that's just me...)

Still, money went to a good cause and includes sme great covers. Phallicide's WTYD got me to check out Annihilator! I personally think Barcode's Peace Sells was the best effort.

Was that the London gig STD_caps? Cos if it was, I was there!

Yeah, the CD has its problems, but I got it dirt cheap, and in introduced a whole bunch of cool UKHC and just shows how good thash is! So I don't really mind.
