Yeah, i agree with Iain. Some people have a very addictive personality and can get hooked easliy. I used to drink A LOT from when i was 14-20, but luckily i never got addicted. I can sympathise tho, cuz i got addicted to porn very very easliy

I don't get what you're on about calling alcoholics pathetic either. In my experience alcoholics are usually a lot more composed and emotionally stable than your average binge drinker.

Fair play if they've been forced fed it as a child though. In my head I never pictured a scenario where parents would feed a child alcohol. Any parent retarded enough to do that would most likely be a alcojunkie, and wouldn't want to waste their booze.

My mate's mum is a community nurse or some shit and she was telling me that she visited a house and had to test a toddler's mental skills. She showed the kid a couple of cards with apples and cars and shit on them, then she showed her one of a bottle of milk and she shouts 'METHADONE!'. It's quite fucked up but that's Scotland for you.

The cold and the alcohol is what I love about Scotland. That and the casual xenophobia that is blatantly in the heart of every Scot yet that foreigners don't detect.

To be fair, 'Up North' (from the Scottish - English border to Nottingham) is equally as bad as Scotland, if not worse. I mean, Scotland has it's problems but England has Hull, Scunthorpe and Leeds.

I am not an alcoholic. I never feel the need to drink. The main reason I drink as much as I do is because of peer-pressure. I know that sounds really sad but it's difficult to explain. People seemed to get all pissy if I'm not drinking a lot. The main reason I get fucked on nights out is because I enjoy it but the other reason is a factor. Still my drinking is much more in control these days. I have had drinking problems in the past and had counseling etc. It's all about self-control, both in getting fucked and being fucked. For example, I won't ever down another bottle of JD and I will try my damnedest not to break the law whilst on the piss again.
