Judas Priest British Steel Tour Rumoured :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judas Priest are strongly rumoured to be arranging a special 30th anniversary British Steel tour for 2010, when they will play their 1980 album in sequence, in its entirety.


Holy shit if those goes ahead i will cum in my pants the whole time i am trying to buy tickets!!

Seriously would be epic, Living after midnight was VERY missed out of the setlist at wembly i thought, i love that song...

tbh i think i can see this going ahead, 30th year anniversary...they would be stupid to miss this chance to make some serious cash

Haha, you know what, I don't even like British Steel that much, but it would be such a relief to hear they are doing this instead playing the whole of Nostradamus live! they'll blates play more than just British Steel aswell!!!

I'd have to go, it's the first Judas Priest I ever heard! I loved it when I was but a noob, so it's just something awesome that'll never happen again!!

Anyway... British Steel isn't bad, not at all... infact, it's fucking superb! Can't deny the amazingness of all the songs except Red, White and Blue (yes, even Metal Gods, United and Breaking The Law!!)

It's definitely not a bad album at all, I just find it a bit boring, on the whole. Some good tracks aside from the obvious classics, but it just doesn't excite my emotions and my penis as much as all the albums beginning with an S (Sad Wings of Destiny, Sin After Sin, Stained Class, Screaming For Vengeance).

From what I have heard live recently, Halford is having trouble with the high notes these days.

I had the fortune to see the original British Steel tour at Hammy O, as well as their "Unleashed In The East" tour show there in '79.

70s Priest is what floats my boat, though "British Steel" (apart from the usual anthems), "Screaming From Vengeance" & "Painkiller" are great 80s records. None of them are really poor though. However, I am not keen on "Turbo" though, ha ha.

Turbo is brill, 70's priest is pretty much the best.

I'd very much like to go to this.

When I saw em at Download last year he had a bit of trouble doing Painkiller, but that was right at the end of the set.. which was about and hour and a half long (at least!)

Yeah, agreed. Although it would still be a great show I'm sure... GRIIIIIIINDER!

Shame they didn't do a Sad Wings 30th in '06 though, if any album deserves playing in its entirety, it's probably that one! In fact British Steel would probably be near the bottom of my list of pre-87 Priest albums I'd want to see live; but it will still be a show and a half!

What about the Testament shows they are gonna be wicked (next month :D) ...although thats based around 2 albums...

If Priest did this i think everyone would be maxed out in leather and Rob would just ride a bike around the whole time ....if only
