The Lamp of Thoth - Cauldron of Witchery 10"
Red Harvest - A Greater Darkness
Down - Over the Under
Vassafor - Vassafor MCD
Nifelheim - Envoy of Lucifer
Blut Aus Nord - Odinist
Villains - Drenched in the Poisons
Darkthrone - FOAD
Spear of Longinus - ...And the Swastykalotus
Goatmoon - Finnish Steel Storm
Mutiilation - Sorrow Galaxies
Make A Change...Kill Yourself - II

10. Countess - Blazing Flames of War
9. Ignivomous - Path of Attrition demo
8. Immolation - Shadows in the Light
7. Wolves in the Throne Room - Two Hunters
6. Alcest - Souvenirs D'Une Autre Monde

4. Profanatica - Profanatitas de Domonatia
3. Necros Christos - Triune Impurity Rites

1. Deathevokation - Chalice of Ages

Disappointments:
DsO - Fas Ite... (wasn't expecting much, but really hoped to like it)
Katharsis - VVorldVVithoutEnd (boring compared to the two killers before it)
Slough Feg - Hardworlder (just a bit uninspired compared to the previous works)
Peste Noire - Folk Fuck Folie (nowhere near as good as the debut)

Slowly coming round to the Katharsis and Slough Feg albums now though.

The only album I really cared about that came out in 2007 was 'We'll live and die in these towns' by The Enemy. Instant classic.

Fall of Efrafa - Elil
Army of Flying Robots - Life is Cheap
Cutting Pink With Knives - Populuxxe
Manatees - "We Are Going To Track Down and Kill Vintage Claytahh, The Beard Burning Bastard."
Envy - Abyssal

Probablly more but I'm shit with release years.

I love threads like these.

Tough one! Here's my ten in no particular order:

Blood Duster - Lynden Na
Deathevokation - Chalice of Ages
Ensiferum - Victory Songs
Nunslaughter - Hex
Victimizer - Final Assault
Electric Wizard - Witchcult Today
SSS- S/T
Blood Island Raiders - S/T
Sirocco - The March Through Crimson Frost
Haemorrhage - The Kill Sessions

Also really enjoyed the new albums from Obituary, Hyades, Conquest of Steel and Vomitory, but not as much as the above. Probably a few I've missed off too..

I didn't buy many albums with the potential to let me down this year but I wasn't pleased with the following:

Aborted - Slaughter and Apparatus (not sure why I bought these after their recent track record of being shite, more fool me)
Dekapitator - Storm Before Calm (Highly anticipated this and it wound up being boring and average)
Municipal Waste - The Art of Partying (Seemed like a rehash of the previous album, not a bad record per se, but felt gimmicky)
I killed Reanimator.
