Are they keeping your music, or are they being men about it and not trying to get a free ride on someone else's talent?

I drank about 4 bottles of bourbon a week last year in Germany...so fucking cheap.
Besides of that everday about 2 litres of wine or at least 6-7 beers.

Now that Im back in London I cant afford shit....

Great stuff.

When I drink, I like to drink to get drunk.

I don't like having just the one, I don't see the point, as I don't particularly like the taste, and it means I won't be able to drive anywhere, so I just save it for nights out.

Getting drunk is FUN!

I find it hilarious that metal bands put on this 'tough guy' persona and especially PR are always like "BEER!! BOOBS!! SHARKS!! WE'RE GAY!!!", yet they actually kicked you out for drinking.

If that was the case for me I wouldn't drink at all.

I hate people that talk a big game but don't actually drink heavily. You get cunts that basically make out that they're alcoholics on their Bebo pages, but when you drink with them they're on their arse after seven pints.

On the flip side of the coin, the last time I ever played a gig I was so drunk that I could barely stand, let alone play a solo. Someone even started on me. If you're a drunk and in a band, you need to be like Steve Clark and be perfectly capable of playing well night in, night out and keeping your boozing to off-stage antics.

Ditto.

When I first started boozing I just stuck to cider and vodka because it was about getting drunk. When I made the transition to lager and, eventually, continental beers it became more about enjoying good beer and getting slightly less drunk. I've not been admitted to hospital due to a drink-induced injury or illness since my first year of Uni (when I was 18) but that happened three times during that year.

Good point. That's why it rules.

I would say that's steep but I have a good vodka fridge: plenty of Russian and Estonian stuff. The stuff has so much of a kick but it's dry so it's all cool!

Why do some people feel they have to show off about getting drunk? (Not talking about anyone on here by the way, just generally). Imagine if you put it differently, instead of saying something like 'i got really wankered and i'm great', you said 'I consumed lots of liquid last night and made my head feel different.' Doesn't sound so impressive then, does it?

I never say 'I was so fucked last night' to brag. It's either because it was/is key to me feeling so good (I often don't wake up hungover but on a high) or because it is the root of my shame.
