Yeah, you can't blame Slayer for changing their style and making albums that appeal to a wider crowd. They're coming to the end of their careers soon, and they probably just wanna make sure that they have the cash left over so that they can carry on partying once they've quit the music business! You can't deny that they're one of the best, and most influentual bands of all time, people who think they're shit because of that are n00bzorz lol omgz.

...so?

So why would it be on a thrash album ? It's not thrash. Decent song, mind, but not thrash.

Yeah anyone who knocks early Slayer is a plum. The qualty dips after RIB but isn't a problem until post-Seasons. So there... RIB might be obvious but there is a FUCKING GOOD reason for that.

Songwriting-wise, slayer peaked at hell awaits, although RIB was a close second. Had rick rubin produced hell awaits, and had it been on a major label like RIB, then it would be universally aclaimed as the best record they ever did. Post RIB, they did some great songs, but no great albums. Who can argue the class of tracks like spirit in black, silent scream, and war ensemble!!! But too many fillers  .
