I came home singing Hellion today for some reason. I'm pretty much with Tom.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Hair Metal is fantastic, especially at this time of year. Nothing beats sitting in the garden listening to Poison and drinking Czech lager.

Been hearing a fair few Cinderella tracks on RockRadio1.com at my work and I have been mightily impressed. I like a bit of Whitesnake, W.A.S.P., Van Halen, Motley Crue, early Jovi. Poison can fuck off though.

Get Night Song. It's like AC/DC but much much better.

What about Ratt? Haven't seen them since they played Donington back in the 80's,but they are playing Rock City in Nottingham soon,so I might pop along. Not sure who's in the band now though(not Robin Crosby obviously)

Although I was/am predominantly a thrasher, I too occasionally felt the call of hairspray and spandex.
I used to (and still) listen to WASP, Crue, Poison (up to when they did Unskinny Bop anyway), Ratt, Dokken, Bon Jovi (everything up to These Days), Lizzy Borden, Van Halen, Cinderella, Malice, Faster Pussycat, Kingdom Come and, ooooh, loads more.
Glam. Not as gay as you may think.

I'm so GLAD you guys love hair metal too!!!

Ratt and Motley Crue are two of the bands that made me love hair/glam metal
[also, Vixen Rev It Up is my first hair metal cd and it's still my fave too!]

and Ratt is still untouchable to me,
I only have the first ep and first two album,
I wil get dancing undercover very soon!

I got few great used cds from store today
White Snake Slip of the Tongue and Great White Twice Shy!
plus Scorpions Savage Amusement if you guys count Scorpions are hair metal.

anyone of y'all know some lesser known bands who fucking rock?

and Shug, Cinderella and Poison is awesome!!!

Speaking of Ratt (haha, rat), did they not reschedule the tour?

I need that Silent Rage album like. Rebel With A Cause is brilliant.
