I find that I still laugh when I watch repeats of Phoenix Nights.

Good man.

Man To Man With Dean Learner?
IT Crowd?

Man to Man was a real disappointment. There were two utterly brilliant episodes but the rest were very poor. There were flashes of brilliance among the bad ones, but just not enough.

The first series of the IT crowd was hit and miss to put it mildly. This second series, however, has been class from the get go. A complete turnaround in quality. The theatre and dinner party episodes had me pissing myself.
No, literally.

I know what you mean about Dean Learner. Should have spent more time writing it, because the bits that were good, were really good. Def Leppard and the Wet Wipes, class stuff.

I've liked both series on IT Crowd, but the second is much better just for the story lines. Fucking daft.

I liked the idea of Man to Man but always felt that they should have stuck with the Darkplace format for a second series. Maybe not set in the hospital, but "unearthed" lost footage of a detective series or something like that. There was so much more the could have done with the original Darkplace idea.
Maybe they'll go back to it in the future.
