Once you shred, you can't go to bed!

That was terrible, sorry.

Anyone who says you can't shred and have emotion just needs to listen to Hair Metal. The problem with the music that is predominantly associated with shredders is that the guitarists have fuck-all to solo over. Honestly, try soloing over a Thrash riff without it sounding wank. If, on the other hand, you have a choice chord progression that is basically a rip off of Comfortably Numb, e.g. Paul Gilbert - Technical difficulties and W.A.S.P. - The Idol, you get pretty good solos.

I've really not played in months. Working 3-11 has ruined my chances to do things other than work, travel to work and sleep.

1, Why are you here? we used to beat up kids who listned to wasp.
2, that's why marty friedman made up seperate acompanyments for his solos. it works, do it. It's well near impossible to shred properly over chromatics

Get bent, WASP are brilliant.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Do you want me to lecture you on 'Teen Angst'? If so, I suggest that everyone else, especially Dian Wei, pay no more attention to this thread.

Yeah, but I work for Sky Broadband and have to think about the internet all day at work so I can't always be ringed using it in my time away from work.
