Beat me to it!

Totally agree, doom is so refreshing after listening to lots of thrash; all the heaviness and fist-pumping epicness, but served up with a different swathe of atmospheres and tempos, and usually with great vocals to boot.

I've actually been on a doom/heavy metal trip for several MONTHS. Haven't been listening to anything very fast or extreme. And it's great!

Thrash is shit, the only thing you only ever need to listen to is Opeth. And Tool.

Maybe some Agalloch or Empyrium. Very thick atmospheres, and is a nice change up for things that are very riffy.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Touch - Sweetest Victory

John Parr - Restless Hearts (from Running Man)
