Zomg! Gig tonight (pretty much). Can't wait for it. I'm going to act like an actual frontman this gig me thinks apart from being a complete arsehole part.

So sorry we couldn't make it to the gig, I know a lot of you probably feel quite let down by us.
Basically, we've had a lot of line-up changes recently, me and Lyall have been getting rid of members who weren't committing 100% to the band, which meant kicking out our drummer and bassist. As there was no way for Princey, our new drummer to learn our set for tonight's gig, we asked Chris if he would be able to stand in for us tonight. After 3 hours of waiting around in Sheffield trying unsuccessfully to contact Chris, he sent us a text message saying he wouldn't be playing the gig.
Once again, really sorry to Dave and Luci, I would have called to apologise but I forgot to ask either of you for a contact number. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to see us as well, we really hate letting people down like this.
I can guarantee this won't happen again, we now have four members of the band who are 100% committed to what we're doing.

Don't worry about that, thankfully we never have to deal with them tossers (bassist/drummer) ever again. We've got four members that actually like the band now and want to see us succeed. Any way, sorry again to have messed you about, Dave.

I did wonder why you didn't introduce us last week, that explains it.

Cheers to everyone that came to this, there was a decent sized crowd and quite a few familiar faces in.
We didn't play to our best, which was a shame, apologies for that lol. But it was good fun and a laugh

It definitely was bloody good fun indeed! My first time at the Snooty Fox, what a bloody great venue indeed. I thought you were great, admittedly it did get a bit hilarious towards the end, that cover of The Trooper was, shall we say, a bit of twisted genius, but it was bloody good fun throughout. Hamerex put on a good show. A few more gigs under their belt would be useful for them to get a bit tighter, but they showed potential to be good fun boys (and girl). But yes indeed, well done indeed Hallowed Point, you gave me an enjoyable face. I look forward to next time!
(I was the one with glasses and hair, and a face, next to Jamie, I said hello to you (I think, if it was indeed you), you may remember, hello)

Twas indeed hilarious, but good fun all the same
I came along with the Reign boys to show support for UK thrash
( twas a shame the saviours of us all never made their appearance . Bet their ears were burning though
)
But it was good to meet you guys, Jonnyboy and Jamie, and glad that you had a good time at our 'local'
Hamerex were ok, and Hallowed Point were just....
hammered
Most enjoyable
Except I did get into trouble for not introducing you guys to Pitiful Reign...

It was indeed a great night. it was great catching up with Dave and Luci and also meeting Sherry and Andy of hallowed point glory.
Hamerex were good fun, i would be interested to see them in a year or so when they have done a bit more practising and gigging, definately potential for a great heavy metal band.
Hallowed point were a "great success!". since FTA'06 they have come on leaps and bounds, sooo much tighter and much more confidence and conviction on stage. the tunes were being blasted out with true thrashing passion, i'll look forward to seeing you lot again, and i think with a second lead guitar your sound will be complete and alot fuller.
shame about heretic and headless cross, the truth is that basically Martin got AIDS, and was embarrased about playing incase... you know, its started to become apparent. don't worry martin, AIDS is hilarious.
