Thought this may be of interest to you lot. Paul Stenning has written a book on the past, present and future of thrash metal, currently available as an e-book in PDF format. Sounds like if enough people buy it then it will eventually be published and anyone who purchases the e-book will be sent a free copy of the hard copy if it becomes available.

Nice one Paul, god I wish I had time to write something like this!

"If you want a picture of the future of UK Thrash, imagine a boot stamping on a Member's face, forever."

I also hope it doesn't include bands like Hatebreed like that "Get Thrashed" documentary (which from what I seen looks otherwise cool)
Might buy it if it gets released as a book. I can't read the e-book on the bog.

I'd prefer to say speed/power metal, not a whole load of thrashing going on, but it is pretty fastly
