So last.fm have finally opened their Artist Payment Program and you can all upload your bands music and start earning royalties. At the moment the amount is tiny see the details. Depending on how the music is streamed you get between $0.0005 and $0.005 or 10%-30% of the 'share' of last.fm's 'net revenue' per play. It's all quite complicated but anyway.

So will any of the bands on here be uploading their stuff?

Already done and we got 50 views on there since we have so god knows how much that is? HOD should get a few bob because they get a few listens on there.

If they can get their sodding tagging right that is. People are terrible.

I've registered my Price Of Freedom album I made at uni, that I uploaded to lastfm for free download a while ago, for royalty fun. I'll make millions, as it's an epic metal masterpiece.

Heres a thought. If we all go to HODs album. And all press play a few times n refresh the page, will it make a difference?

I'd imagine so, otherwise you could just log out of your profile and listen to your music all day and become a billionaire.

I'm going to set up band accounts for HOD, Hospital Of Death, Hospital of death, Hospital of Death, HOSPITALOFDEATH, Hospital Death, Hopsital Of Dearth, Hospice of death etc to scrimp in the pennies...
