Couldn't find another thread on this, or the original post by Jon or Stu (can't remember which one of you crazy bastards it was ) which had a link to the fantastic album... so I thought I'd start a thread where we can talk about it's amazingness and stuff.. :eyes:

I'm listening to it right now, hence the love for the Captain!

who else has heard it? what'd you think about it?

When I discovered that album, I wept with joy. Now my harddrive has broken, and I have lost many great gems such as this. Such a good album, really want to get some more of their stuff.

lovely stuff!

When I was in South Africa there was this CD shop in the middle of nowhere which had all these Captain Beyond and Caravan CD's. It was weird.

I love caravan as well. Anyone else love caravan? They are very camp british at times, but at other times, just pure brilliance. I just love British music

I haven't put on my Captain Beyond album for a little while, I'll listen to it now since you've brought it up. I remember it being brilliant. Yes, it is.

I may be controversial amongst my fellow mill-hillians saying this, but I think Leafhound are a bit overrated. They just play standard classic rock Zeppelin rip-off stuff, it's pretty fun but that's it. They certainly aren't amazing, they're just good. They were brilliant at Metalbrew though, I'll give you that. I just think some people hold them up a bit too high for what they are. Good old rocking boys fun, but nothing more and nothing less.

That's enough for me! Fun is enough.

"The illustrious LEAFHOUND, cited by some Hard Rock experts as one of the greatest bands ever, offered up only one now highly sought after sophisticated Hard Rock album in the LED ZEPPELIN / FREE mould. Collectors can expect to pay in excess of £1'000 for a mint copy."

Well, I think you should have a basic grasp of Latin if you work in... Currys.
