Classic thrash titles re-released
It looks like plastic head are re-issuing a lot of thrash stuff on their back to black label soon. They have already reissued the death back catalog this week on double white n red splattered vinyls, and darkness descends is also out on double purple vinyl. Tomorrow, exodus fabulous disaster and pleasures and onslaughts power from hell is released too so i believe. and in four weeks megadeth killing is my business on double blue splatter too. All limited to 1000 copies only. wikked

Nice, I'll definatly be getting me a copy of Human on vinyl soon, I only need that and The Sound of Perseverance to complete my Death vinyl collection.

Picture discs generally don't sound as good in my experience.

they dont, this is because of the acoustics of the disc being compromised by the layers of vinyl and paper.

Why is Darkness Descends being put on double vinyl?!? It originally fit on one LP.... And Killing is my buisness wasn't too long an album either.
Back on Black did the same for Burzum's s/t a while ago. And they make terrible quality vinyls (they feel like the vinyl on kitchen floors.)

i agree! The scream bloody gore has bonus tracks, but none of the others do. Century media reissued all (well most) of the combat back catalog a few years back, so this is a bit of cashing in really, but maost of the CM vinyl was really limited (the darkness descends pic lp was limited to just 500 copies). A lot of those were shit quality too.
as for the burzum, when misanthropy reissued it on vinyl, they did it as a double album too.
