I like the fact everything there is rounded up to a pound or two pounds, they don't faff around with the .99 shenanigans, at least they're honest.. good men.

They do have a very addictive nature blah blah

I agree with Feemo.

I remember being on Codeine in hospital. It completely blurred my vision to the extent that I couldn't read anything, no matter how close I looked at something. Great.

Yeah it made philosophy lessons a lot easier

I like the fact they're not ashamed that they only cater for alcoholics and students. I can't think of many places that do deals on multi-packs of Tennent's Super or Special Brew. They're also savvy enough to put the Kettle Chips and Pringles right next to the booze.

A few years back I had really bad tootache. Because I've got a gigantic fear of the dentist I never went to get it sorted out and instead lived off paracetemol and beer (the alcohol numbed the pain) for about 2 years. I finally got the balls (and the money) to go and get it sorted and when he took the problem tooth out I couldn't believe how much of a pussy I had been. It was over in minutes and didn't hurt at all AND I got a day off work!!
Painkillers are bad though, because I still took the remaining 2 or 3 tubs that I had left pretty quickly even though I wasn't in pain anymore, they just made me happy! I don't take them now though, my body got used to them after 2 years of constant use!

You can't buy 30 mg co codamol over the counter, can you?
I take 3 every dinner when I'm at work (90 mg's of codeine, lovely) and a couple more when I get home.Have done for literally years.Arthritis can be a bastard.
The important thing is though,I'm not prescribed them,my girlfriends mum gives me hers.My g/f also has some slow release tramadol at the moment,so I'm taking them as well, they do help mellow me out,but they do seem to make me sweat as well.
Long term damage you say? Never heard of it.
