24th Feb British Metal presents ... DOMINION '07

Postby Sherry on Sat Dec 09, 2006 11:13 pm

Another new one for you, and somewhat of a departure for PMUK and British Metal, as we move nto the realms of musical comedy, mixed with metal.

The 24th will be an all day event, in conjunction with Andy Stone and Severed Promotions

We are bringing the fantastic Grum Lee to the Snooty Fox, supported by Scumface.

Grum Lee has become an internet phenomenon, renowned for his intentionally, hilariously bad cover versions of classic heavy metal songs

If you have a warped sense of humour Grum Lee is the man for you

his version of Painkillerh as to be heard to be believed !

This is the first time Grum has appeared in the UK for a few dates, and it promises to be ear-splittingly funny.

Scumface too are gaining a huge reputation in the UK, for their renditions of songs, with such diverse subject matter as

" Skinheads, Bricks, Briefcases, Nobheads, Beer, Beef, Bacon, Arses, Alan Sugar, Pies, Your Mum, kebabs, white Ford Transit vans, HP brown sauce, nicking your shoe, "

They describe themselves as being
"made up of bastards who will kick you in the head."

So , as you can tell, the first part of the day will be full of fun, followed by a line up of the very best in Uk and European heavy metal

including

Total Resurrection,
Pitiful Reign,
Fourway Kill

and headllining the entire day will be, from Germany, the fantastic

Reckless Tide

I have one more band tbc, more later on that

I hope it suits !!

This gig has virtually altered beyond all recognition since we first announced it

Due to the fact that Grum Lee has cancelled his UK tour,

We have totally rejigged the line up totally

so it now looks like this

Reckless Tide
Fourway Kill
Pitiful Reign
Scavengers Daughter
Amok
Icarus
Fury

Doors will be at 1pm

£6.50

Anyone gets the chance to see Icarus at this gig you are in for a treat, they have made themselves heavier and sound good for it. They also do a good cover of Pantera's fucking hostile.(if it is the Icarus from Huddersfield)

We'd have loved to have played this but our vocalist aint ready. Bloody singers. I'll have to settle for getting incomprehensibly leathered instead.

Im sorry to say that I have received a message from Fourway Kill

who are regrettably having to pull out of the DOminiOn show

this has been unavoidable, but rest assured that I am rummaging around to try and secure a worthy replacement for them

Will let you all know when i do

Hope you will be pleased
