Just watched The Simpsons Movie.

The purest definition of the word "average".

Pros:
Bart's Blackboard during the opening titles
Bart Skateboarding
Spiderpig
Mo's Tavern
It's only 75 minutes long

Cons:
Mr Burns is in it for less than a minute.
No Sideshow Bob.
The woman that does the voice of Marge now bizarrely seems to be trying to do a Marge Simpson impression.
Too much Flanders.
Too much schmaltz.

No, it's the purest definition of the word 'Shitty' The Pro's you gave amount to about two minutes of the footage. Not to mention the whole storyline being even stupider than the most stupid recent Simpsons has gotten. Anyone that enjoyed that film needs to go watch seasons 5 6 7 and 8 then commence crying. If that film was 22 minutes it would have been on par with a REALLY bad new episode.

Worst film i've seen in a very long time.

I thought it was funnier than pretty much every episode since 2001 but that's not really saying too much.
Sure, the storyline was stupid but it wasn't too far from when Mr Burns blotted out the sun in Who Shot Mr Burns.
I went into it thinking it was going to be average and it neither exceeded my expectations or disappointed me wildly either.

The show needs to stop now though.
No more films either.

Worst film i've seen in a very long time.

Steer clear of Alexander, Catwoman, Mr & Mrs Smith and Oceans 12.

Funnily enough, i've not seen a single one of those films

The sun thing whilst being far fetched at least was damn entertaining, that piece of shit movie wasn't. It was predictable, relied on seriously weak one line gags, and was seemingly devoid of anything resembling an original idea. And like I said, hella boring :P Spider pig was the funniest gag in the film, and it was in the trailers.

Mr Burns is my favorite character so when I heard he was hardly in it I fucking cried. Still haven't seen it but I don't know if I will... Nah I will but it just sucks that its not the best thing ever. Damn shame.

the simpsons is so predictable now. The one liners are pathetic. Used to be so good too :(

This is a real shame, I was hoping it was going to be wonderful. I can imagine very well though what you mean when you say 'too much schmaltz', this is the one thing that I don't like about the Simpsons in general (not that I'm disputing how amazing the middle seasons are though) and why South Park and Family Guy are better. I still want to see it, but I don't know if I'll see it in the cinema now. Who knows, good gracious.

any hans moleman?

No lines. On screen for two whole seconds.

Oh, did I mention Green Day are in it though? So that makes it all better. On screen for longer than the combined appearances of Mr Burns, Smithers, Otto, moleman, Jasper, Bumblebeeman, Dr Nick, Sea Captain, Principal Skinner, Ralph Wiggum and Martin Prince.

*Correction due to forgetfulness. Comic Book guy has another scene where he films grandpa Simpson having a "senior episode" in church on his mobile phone and shows it to Marge & Homer, but he's still only in it for maybe a minute at most.
