I cant stand Glenny boy at all. I hate the fucking Gayicide (not gammacide) lyrics and his voice is appauling.

Id rather hear about a mad person putting a hook in someones bum.

ah, well I'm the other way round I think CC lyrics tend to be lame, and I pretty much hate the vocals on most CC albums.

But it's the RIFFS! Ok people will say Deicide have some very dubious albums, but come on. Some of their material just owns all Cannibal Corpse..

Deicide's self titled is absolutely fucking amazing. Legion is also but not as much. The rest is tripe. The new one is also the aforementioned greatness. All CC is that with 2 slightly dubious albums. Consistency, CC are awesome. Plus they slay live.

I enjoyed the Deicide DVD far more than CC.

And I don't care particularly much about consistency to be honest, because even CC's supposedly consistent albums I find pretty boring.

I can't really listen to Tomb of the Mutilated all the way through, the riffs are mostly boring and I think the vocals suck.

What the fuck does that mean?! Its just Glen jumbling some random evil words together! It makes no sense! Also, how can you cause wrath by suicide? Hmm maybe like this:

"Im gonna kill you fucker, by blowing my brains out!"

See it makes no sense, none of his lyrics do, he sings about how much god is crap and lies but he is aknowleging god as a real thing in all his songs and thereby contradicting himself. IT MAKES NO SENSE!

Also, how many times can you sing about god being bollocks and lying to us (even though CC do the same thing with death), seriously look at the song titles! Fuck you glen, FUCK YOU!!!

Who really cares about the lyrics. Sure, in some bands you want a bit of intelligent dialogue, but Deicide lyrics fit the music, and are the whole point of the band basically.

Though I agree, it's amusing how he manages to write so many sets of lyrics about THE same thing.

But then again, who fucking needs CC lyrics? Just as ridiculous if you ask me, and I way prefer Deicide vocals.

I find both really boring.

Cannibal Corpse are way to monotonous for me and even if I do find good stuff in Deicides music Glenn Benton puts me off, the only good thing he's ever done is Vital Remains, who shit all over both bands IMO.

Deicide, mainly for their debut.
