Gammacide Message

Postby James on Sat Jun 02, 2007 12:42 am

I might be quite out of date with this, but I noticed this message from Rick of Gammacide over on Thrash Unlimited:

"As some of you may know, we reunited last year and played some shows to promote the CD reissue of Victims of Science.

The response to the Victims CD has been far beyond what I expected. I thought I would have Gammacide CDs sitting in my closet for years, but we are almost sold out. The success of the Victims reissue has spurred us on to write new material, and we've got about 8 songs done so far. Hopefully you guys will like it, it's what you expect from Gammacide -- fast, heavy, plenty of double bass and berzerk lead guitars... some of this stuff really smokes, and I'm a tough critic!

Since we were formed in 1986, this year marks our 20th Anniversary. To mark the occasion, we will spreading toxic thrash throughout our homestate of Texas, so break out the gasmasks and geiger counters... we'll be playing all the classics of course, but working in at least 3 or 4 of these new songs... hope to see some of you there!"

Rick said that quite a while ago I believe...

However I spoke to him over myspace a while back and asked about the new stuff and he said that they basically have the album written, but they were looking for a label who'd release it :)

I want more Gammacide!!!! :rockdevil:
