I'm so upset. This is terrible and shocking news. He's going to have a solo career away from heavy metal, they say! How ludicrous. I just can't believe this. There's no way they'll be able to get another singer as amazing as him!

I assumed that meant they now have two guitarists, which would be magnificent.

So, apart from auditioning for Iron Maiden, what else did Russ North do Metal wise between 1990 & 2007?

I think he has a lot of musical interests outside the Metal sphere. However, he has the perfect voice for Metal, that's for sure!!

Well apparently he used to sing Tom Jones covers (among other such classic artists) on cruise ships. That's what Tom told me anyway (that's Tom from Mutant, not Tom Jones).
