On Tuesday I saw SAXON play at the Astoria.
According to Biff, they have been invited to play at this years Download.

In my books that makes about 5 bands worth seeing!!

Saxon is a band i grew up with, and had most of their albums, however, even though they have done some great tunes, they have always had their fair share of fillers on their releases, and even the classic stuff hasn't really aged that well :? Still, denim and leather is a good album, and "and the bands played on" is a true metal anthem :rockdevil:
