I have never even listened to them.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Damn you, Norsie! I can never decide which Opeth album is my favourite. It's always the one I listened to last. In this case, Damnation. However, any other day it could have gone the way of Blackwater Park, Deliverance or Ghost Reveries.

This is the best thread ever.

I choose Ghost Reveries. It was my first Opeth experience, and for that it shall always remain a magical experience to my face. You just can't get much better than The Baying Of The Hounds, or even Ghost of Perdition, what a ridiculous mother of a song.

Still Life, Deliverance and Blackwater Park all come very close as 2nd/3rd/4th best. The end rhythm bit of Deliverance is the best rhythm ever made. And Damnation next. Actually, My Arms Your Hearse is also unbelievably amazing. April Ethereal is a ridiculously amazing song. And Epilogue is lovely.

Opeth are fucking amazing. Bring on The Roundhouse Tapes!

Beneath The Mire is blates the best song on GR.....there all good. Have Opeth ever put out a bad album? No.

I've heard one Opeth album, can't remember which but it would have been late 90s. Bored me to death... Am I so wrong?

Beneath The Mire is definitely amazing, especially that unbelievable guitar/keyboard simultaneous solo of wonder, unbelievable. Harlequin Forest is also unbelievable. Well, every song's amazing basically. I really can't wait to hear what their next album is going to sound like.
