Suicidal Tendencies - What say you?
I think their ST debut rules but after that all I have heard has been hit and mostly) miss. The solos are great and some of the riffs rule but often the songs are too repetitive and sometimes just damn dull. Also, Mike's lyrics are often really, annoyingly dumb (like on the How can I Laugh Tomorrow... album). Just thought I'd see what others thought...
"And what about the churches and all their wealth
There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Yeh, they're not exactly lyrical geniuses. I do like em though, it's fun, bouncy stuff and I like Mike's vocals and as you said, some memorable riffages. They've probably got 3 or 4 quality albums - but went incredibly downhill later. You Sick Cyco Muthafucka.

Sounded great when it came out but sadly hasn't stood the test of time. One of those bands I think fondly of, but when I stick them on I realise they're rubbish.

'How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Remember the Name of the Album Because It's Overly-Long' was pretty good. I thought Mike Clark and Rocky George made a fairly decent guitar album there. Mike Muir's voice was a bit weak but it's an album that sticks in my mind from when I was first trying to get passed the Big Four.

Top band. Saw them headlining the 3rd stage at Donington last year.
Unbelievably good. Easily one of the best sets of the year, let alone the festival.

This is one of those bands that passed me by. Checked this thread to see if I should bother and it's done nowt to encourage me!
I'll just get on with life, was it them that brought the daft upturned cap into the mix?
