Pearl Jam

So, I bought Ten yesterday, simply because it was cheap and I had even flow stuck in my head. I have to say, it's a fucking amazing album, been listening to some other stuff, which is also great.

What's the general consensus then?

Yeh Ten is an amazing album. Even Flow is too good. Never really looked further into Pearl Jam apart from Rear View Mirror...the song, not the whole album. I really should do.

ten is great, the one after VS. is equally great, love basically all their stuff, binaural, love that one

Pearl Jam are probably my favourite band of all time. I love Ten, Vs., Yield and Binaural. Hated the two newer ones but give No Code and Vitalogy the odd listen. As for Zurab, why are you people even humouring him? He's got a Pleasure To Kill avatar and he's 14...

And Creeping Dan, you should be ashamed of yourself for not looking into getting Vs. It's fucking brilliant although I found it smacked a bit of that horrible, hyper-liberal 'We Hate the Republicans' thing. Fair enough, it was released in 1993, but I usually tune out when the lyrics are about gun control. Go, Animal, Blood, Leash and Indifference all all particularly brilliant. Then Mike McCready hit the bottle and stopped putting on decent solos.

It's a good song but it's nowhere near the best on the album. Garden, Deep, Why Go, Once and Jeremy are all above it. Alive is as well, but it's not cool to like that song.

I can remember Jeremy...the rest are a blur. Haven't listened to the album in three years.
