I want to get in to flotsam I've ordered Doomsday for the Deceiver, what over albums should I get and which one should I avoid.

no place for disgrace is unreal. one of the most complex and enjoyable thrash albums of all time. total MUST have!

The rest of there stuff isnt really hardcore thrash, very progressive id recomend downloading first:

quatro
when the storm comes down
drift
my god

the rest are a bit unfocoused.

I prefer No Place For Disgrace to the first one. I had Cuatro too but that was piss-poor.

I prefer no place too, quatro is ok its not a thrash album tho.

The first two are Speed-Metal musts. All the rest albums are high quality (Power-) Metal. Even "Dreams of Death" is great shit IMO.

My God is an awesome american heavy metal album with some nice progressive touches. Really really grows on you. Not thrash though,

seriously whats up with the metal blade re-release of doomsday, why does it have two copies of doomsday?!?!

Well flotsam are one of my top bands ( we flew to germany in november to rage with them) so as a thrasher i adore the first 2 albums.as a metal fan i think cuatro,WTSCD and drift are great albums too.same as megadeth youthanisa is a great album just not a thrash album.
