The best thing about the 90s was the fact that Metallica did 'Load' (it's their best album) and Slayer also came out with 'Divine Intervention', which was fucking mint. Probably my second favourite Slayer album.

Yeah, I'd agree, Metallica coming out with Load was the best bit, complete curveball, most of the songs were top an all, especially that last one, that's summat daft like 20 minutes. Slayer put out their best record as well, Undisputed Attitude.
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

Worst people ever, people who have this in their Myspace bands list:

"Metallica (81-92!!!!111111)"

Idiots.

I just tell people I only like Metallica pre-Kill 'Em PAUL.

The 90s were better for metal. All the Industrial and Death Metal bands were at their peak.

re-load is shit

load is very good though, if you take it in context of old metallica you'll never like it though

I always thought Re-Load was, like, Metallica's third or fourth best album and that Load was the shittest. The fundamental flaw with both Load and Re-Load is that they both last about 75 minutes. Given that the average concentration span of someone is probably closer to 20 minutes, this isn't a good idea.

Nah I rate them both, Load is better but tracks like Fixxxer and Prince Charming are great.

I hate old Metallica, "ooo I'm James Hetfield..I'm not a coke addict.. but oooo I'm gunna write about it anyway." Just get the beers in Hetfield, and stick Detroit Rock City on!

lets not get into the argument about how AJFA is their best album again, but it's their best album.

Interesting view.

Completely and utterly wrong but it's good to get involved. :D
