In order to ensure that you sell loads of records, bands ought to take a leaf from the book of these 2 bands who have both become cvlt in the underground, and collectors go mad for their releases, sabbat (jap) and nunslaughter.

both bands are awesome, but fuck, how many people rush to buy their releases!!!!!!! They are guarenteed to sell.
i mean, nunslaughter even released an lp limited to 100 copies, all of which were in different unique sleeves, yet they still managed to make 14 of them more exclusive by having those painted with watercolours. Genius marketeing

I think Nunslaughter are pretty lame! But I do like Sabbat (Jp) a lot!

I like what I've heard of Sabbajap. According to Metal Archives they've had 116 releases!

You can sell a lot of records by not writing gant music too.

Kiss sold a lot of albums because they write super-hardcore stuff. Their live albums barely qualify as such yet they've out-sold most other bands' live albums, such is the brilliance of Kiss.

Buy the limited edition Pulverizer vinyl. There's one copy, and it's completely see-through. It only has one track. "Whatcha sayin' ars mutha?". The other side is just an acapella version.

Most of them are live bootlegs-Sabbat just accepts them as official releases anyway
