Foo Fighters, Muse and AC/DC to Headline Download 2008?

You can't be serious, at least on the Foo Fighters front - AC/DC aren't to everyone's tastes, but the Foo Fighters are probably the most boring rock band I can think of (if U2 count as pop).

P.S. AC/DC are great!

early foo fighters is pretty good, before they got incredibly bland

Foo Fighters suck, Muse Suck, AC/DC are bearable will not get £200 or however stupid amount the tickets are too see them.

:lol: You called them 'GayC/DC, I may as well have said 'Both the poo fighters and Poos are terribly dull. ;) hehe.

Nah, to be honest my thoughts are although AC/DC aren't the most technically innovative band by any means, they are unpretentious and good fun, with a few memorable riffs. Dave Grohl is a funny lad but the Foo Fighters bore me silly, nothing new there whatsoever, and muse irritate the hell out of me... one of my best mates has been obsessed with them for as long as I've known her and however many times she's played me her favourite songs I can't really see the attraction! Top three worst/most mind-numbingly bland 'rock' [or whatever they call themselves] bands on Earth in my opinion - Muse, Keane and Feeder. ARGH!

seriously have you guys not heard the other stuff theyre passing as 'rock' music? compared to that muse and foo fighters are groundbreaking and exciting.

AC/DC are wicked, it would be amazing to see those guys. Muse are better and far more original than most popular bands out there at the moment in my opinion. Also, the first Foo's album is really cool.

I do agree about Muse, I think they've got a much more interesting sound than most of their peers

Muse have a great sound, although I think people lable the band/themselves with a kind of eclectic air, which is a pile of crap. To be fair I've never met someone who labelled themselves as eclectic and not been a twat. But Muse deserve all they have at the moment. Dave Grohl's one of the best musicians in rock. Not necessarily the most technical or talented, but he knows how to make things work, and he doesn't get bogged down with attitude or pride or any of that crap. AC/DC have some awesome songs, and I'd like to see them, but I don't know what it'd be like. I kind of expect their live show to be lame. I saw Heaven and Hell the other week and that sucked, I got well bored. They dragged the song Heaven and Hell out to about 15 minutes... I kind of expect AC/DC to be the same to be honest

foo fighters are a load of wank. AC DC are awsome. So many happy times getting wasted listening to them. Would be awsome to see them
