IMO, UA was a stale piece of crap with a few passable songs no matter how you look at it.

System was a good, solid album so Dave has it in him to write well. Nevermore are capable to so much more though.

True, the live shows are awesome still.

I didn't really like The System Has Failed. I thought that United Abominations was slightly better.

It is rather hard to compare these two bands to each other, taking into consideration fact, that Nevermore had released only 6 albums and had began to play barely in the beginning of 90s, while Megadeth are pioneers of thrash, had released 11 albums, had played since the beginning of 80s and it is normal that after 25 years of creating music you can have weaker moments.

Some albums were crap, but other are pure classics and Nevermore hadn’t ever released such great classics like Megadeth!

Classic status depends on the pop culture of the day, not the musical quality. :wink:
