Die Hard 4.0

Postby thrashduck on Fri Jul 06, 2007 4:08 am

Anyone been to see this yet? I saw it today, and suprisingly, it was a a right laugh. Boom, bang, slam, crash, Bruce Willis being smarmy and er.. boom.

Probably the best Die Hard sequel I'd say. I actually got interviewed by some nice student girls on the way out in front of a camera, and I made them BOTH laugh SIMULTANEOUSLY with a joke about Bruce Willis being a confused old man, which he kind of is at times... So i win. So does the film.

Go and see!

Yeah I saw it yesterday, wicked film! I thought the best line this time might have to go to the gay bad guy with " (in spooky voice) Preapare the Downloads!!!! "

It was obviously very silly but nonetheless wicked entertainment with some awesome deaths and John McLane being a total bad-ass all the way along. Its definitely laid down the gauntlet for Rambo 4 i reckon.....

I will torrent it, doesn't look that impressive to me. He has gone from scraping by, to John McClane uber terrorist slayer.

Transformers on the other had looks like it might not be shit. Even is Frank Welker is not doing the voice of Megatron...
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Transformers looks amazing. I don't know why, I've only seen the initial teaser trailer and a new poster, but the poster just makes it look like the best thing in world.

I'm glad Die Hard is at least hilarious indeed, thats all I want from it really, just pure Bruce Willis enjoyment!

I bet the laughing stopped when you started crying with joy and you asked to marry them though :P

Anyway, everyone keeps telling me how good it is, so I might go see it.

I've seen the trailers. I thought it looked like a well made computer game rather than a film... Fucking gay CGI.
I wanna see it, but I can't see it outdoing the first one.

Yes, it looks very good indeed! I saw a new trailer when I saw Shrek 3 the other day (which was pretty terrible, even though it was lovely to look at). It looks great!

I thought 4.0 was damn good, good action good fun and a fair bit of utter ridiculousness!

Transformers however looks BAD bumble bee is a Camaro instead of a beetle!!???

And they dont even have soundwave on it?

infact most of the transformers are nothing like the original or new stuff. Why must Micheal Bay continue to destroy all of our childhood!

It will obviously be nowhere near as good as the 86 animated movie.

But to be fair they have improved Bumblebee as he was shit and the Camaro is a fucking sexy car, well at least the first and second generation were. All i am saying is it does look that shit.

I dunno man, I watched that film fairly recently and was bored to tears. The only saving grace is the ultimately awesome soundtrack by Lion hahaha. Oh yeah also the dialogue between Megatron and the big world eating robot whose name ive temporarily forgotten.

Also to gorebastard, although there is loads of silly CGI in the film i think a lot of the explosions were the real fire and rubble type because Bruce insisted on it. And at the end there's more stuntmen on the credits than cast and crew hahahaha wicked.
