I just don't have time for RPGs any more. I bought FFVXII and was enjoying it, but I just ended up losing track of everything. FFVII for me all the way. I had Pokemon blue on the gameboy as well. That was quite fun.
The only Zelda I've really played is the very first one. But the battery on the cartridge was fucked and it kept losing the save files. Gay really. Really gay.

I really wish they'd remake FFVII with DX10 graphics, that would literally be the best game on the planet. I've re-played it several times since I first got it in 2000 and it's an awesome game - all of the sub-plots are brilliant, and the FMV sequences are astounding given that it was launched back in 1997. That's eleven years ago.

Did anyone see the promo video they did for the ps3 where they redid the opening video of 7?. It was beyond amazing.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Re: R.P.G's(the games not missiles)
Zelda rocks. Everything about it rocks. Science fact.
The small amount of Pokemon I played as a youngling was alright, however it was ruined by a combination of overhype, pokemon cards (of which I proudly never owned a single one!), the TV show, and the time I spent £50 I didn't have on the shitty N64 game, only to realise it blew.
Incidentally I still have said game if anyone wants to buy it. It has the gameboy adaptor and original box in ace condition.
Resident Evil, not the same as your standard RPG, but I reckon that's the best genre those games fit into. Awesome

Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,

Survival horror does not qualify as a rpg.

Re: R.P.G's(the games not missiles)
As the Resi series got on, RPG elements definitely got into it more and more. It already was a sort of 'seamless' game with no separate levels (although Resi 4 did have 'chapters' and such), and now it's got all those upgrading of the weapons and all that, and of course it's very plot-driven. So yes indeed, it is definitely not an RPG through-and-through, but RPG elements indeed, yes it does have.

I feel that also applies to the graphics, using the B3ta definition
