Back in topic againts the last FF thread...
Just got back from seeing the awesome Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium in London and John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page came out and played 2 tracks with Dave and Taylor of the band.
They first played Rock And Roll with Taylor singing and Dave drumming and vice versa for Ramble On!
Great night, great band, was almost in tears seeing half of Zep perform.

Re: Foo Zeppelin
Def Leppard are better than Led Zeppelin; they don't rip off obscure blues acts for a start and they have nicer hair. No wonder James was in tears seeing half of Led Zeppelin perform. Did they pass off someone else's songs as their own again?
Remember that time Pat Smear was devastated when his childhood hero, Eddie Van Halen, made fun of his ethnicity? That was fucking hilarious. Van Halen are better than Led Zeppelin too.

I'm going to join the forum at glamrock.com and say that I like thrash at every opportunity. It'll be a scream. They'll love me. I'll be their best poster ever. I'll even call myself Metal Ian for extra laughs.

Def Leppard aren't Glam, you ignorant cunts; they transcend genres. They started out as NWOBHM but got too good for it and so had to mix it up a bit by being competent musicians and songwriters.

Similar to knowing how it feels to know that people will mourn my death, I'd imagine. Considering that I'll probably be the only one at my funeral who is unaware of what's going on, I don't think it really matters.
Besides, Def Leppard will almost certainly play Rock of Ages at my funeral. I mean, they played a benefit show for Freddie Mercury and he had AIDS so they have to play at my funeral.

But The Fourth Norseman doesn't like Def Leppard and he's the most angst-ridden teen in the world.
Besides, angst-ridden teens like Thrash and Def Leppard aren't Thrash...
