Severance!

Anyone seen this wonderful film? I saw it tonight, it's brilliant. Many people have told me before how good it was, I just never got round to watching it until tonight. How fantastic. Really funny in places, and also reminiscent of The Office with a couple of great hole-digging moments! The great thing is, the horror parts of the film were really done well too. There were some real genuinely intense moments there, and a couple of quite sad moments too. It was a very well made film indeed. And Danny Dyer is the fucking nuts!

"Have you ever taken anything seriously in your life"

"Ecstasy and weed"

Classic movie. Danny Dyer is a fairly good actor, though he had a limited range imo.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

limited range, as in he can't reach very far? :eyes:

Yeah, this film rocks, saw it when it first came out on DVD and it really surprised me, I was execting some crappy third-rate horror style film!

if you haven't seen it, watch it, it won't disappoint... unless you don't like action/horror/thriller sort of films with some funny parts and over the top gore!

I absolutely loved Severance. Like a lot of other people, I was expecting some limp little horror flick that held my interest for half hour or so before curing my insomnia but it was bloody excellent.

Also check out Wilderness. Some borstal kids and their supervisors (including Sean Pertwee. Again.) get hunted by a psychopath and wild dogs on a remote scottish island. Very gory and very good.

I think I've seen Wilderness. It wasn't that good.

Ok, so it wasn't as good as Dog Soldiers but it was still miles better than rubbish like The Cave, Creep or 28 Yawns Later.

It's not better than 28 Days Later, I'm afraid.

To my mind it is. Wilderness kept my attention for the full duration while 28 Days Later had me wondering whether I should do the washing up after about 40 minutes.
