Today is the day...

Postby MartinC on Mon Sep 15, 2008 1:57 pm

...that Iain takes over my long-standing position as highest poster. I believe I had a good run, but I just cannot compete with the amount of shite that he posts. All I can say to you, Iain, is that this lot will go mental - you will have a mutiny on your hands!

Please don't make me redundant...

Sod off, you thunder-stealing cunt!

I might not overtake you today anyway. Besides, I'm sure my time at the top will be as precarious as that of Gordon Brown, especially with Dian Wei looming around the corner getting ready to stab me in the neck and usurp my greatness. I'm going for a job interview next week and, if I get it, I'll be working 3-11 - i.e. my UK Thrash hours - so I'm sure I'll be overtaken and left for dead too.

That's how I got to the top anyway. I used to avoid that thread like the plague and, when the old one went, so did Harris's post count. I could make up the lost ground in no time by kicking off about Black Metal or ribbons69 as well.

This isn't about you, Iain, it's about me!

And now... the end is near

And so I face... the final curtain

My friend... I'll say it clear

I'll state my case... of which I'm certain

I've lived... a life that's full

I travelled each... and every forum

And more... much more than this...

I posted... myyyyyy waaaaaayy

You were only ever at the top for so long because I buggered off like Jesus for a while. It was your overconfidence in claiming that I would never overtake you that has driven me on anyway.

I think we should do this anyway. It's getting long, Mark III needs to be unleashed, and it really shouldn't count towards post count.

Totally.

I need the money and, perhaps more importantly, a reason to leave the house that doesn't involve getting bladdered.

Worse still, it's for Sky. I get to deal with idiots who can't use their internet. Still, I'd get free Sky TV and broadband
