Evile Press Release wrote:EVILE AUDITION BASSISTS

With Evile having confirmed that they are carrying on as a band, they are starting to audition bassists for the new year. Doing such a tough task so soon, with so little time until the new year tours, they are simply looking for an experienced, friendly and skilled professional bassist/musician. Applicants must be able to commit 100% to the band, be expected to be available for extensive global (w/ valid passport) touring from January 2010 onwards, be a resident of the UK (preferably close to Huddersfield, but not necessary) and have touring/performing experience.

To apply please E-MAIL the following to bass@evile.co.uk

  • Full Name
  • Age
  • Location
  • A link to a video of you playing the bass (Youtube.com etc)
  • A few pictures of yourself (on and off stage)
  • Details of playing and gigging experiences
  • A brief paragraph on why you want to join the band

All applications must be submitted by 8th December latest for consideration.

Glad to hear they are continuing on!

I am going to suggest Jon... although that's the obvious suggestion!

Hahaha, thank you Josh, as much of an honour as it would be, and as much as I absolutely love the guys in Evile, I've already taken on far too many commitments!

It's great that the guys are carrying on - they're onto something big here, and as they said in that recent Metal Hammer interview, it would be a waste of both theirs and Mike's last ten years if they just gave up. The best thing the band can do now is go full steam ahead and make Mike, and everyone else, proud of their mighty heavy metal. It's going to be tough with the tour coming up so soon, but I'm sure they will make the right choice.

I wish much good luck to you indeed.

 Bumbklaat

I'd do it but sadly I have no onstage photos, no bassequipment and quite frankly I doubt I'd be able to play some of the material from the new album (Infected Nation in particular). All three of them have my utmost support though.
