It would be awesome to see dark angel again, my altime fave thrash band!!! However, DA werent genes band, so he couldnt start them up again, that would be down to eric meyer, but when i last spoke with him, he said that they would never reform, because they wouldnt do it without ron. However, never has been said before by many bands, so i imagine one day it could happen, till then, i can just enjoy my dvd of them back in 2002

as for forbidden, just hope they are as good as they were in their day

I'm happy for the Forbidden reunion and Gene Hoglan is an awesome drummer.
But i would appreciate it more, when this fat cunt would revive Dark Angel.

You're right, but don't you know that Martin Missy (ex-Protector singer) kinda revived Protector with swedish musicians and used an other band name, even if Protector wasn't his own band?

Gene could to a Reunion with Don Doty and some other musicians, but he has to use a different name for this band then.

Proctector were Michael Hasses band though, and he's been dead for a few years now.

It mainly depends on whether Jim lets them have the rights to the Dark Angel name. But as he's fucking about with Dreams of Damnation, shouldn't happen any time soon.

this is super news, i hope they will be doing some uk dates, id be willing to travel at least 40 miles, forbidden evil is better than darkness descends in my opinion, there was no one better to replace bostaph than gene the fucking machine hoglan........well bill andrews was another awesome drummer, people forget about him and his drumming supremecy on 'leprosy'

Reunion with Doty will have to be great! But I am not sure that Doty is interested in singing for Dark Angel never again. I always though that after he left the band he was probably doing everything but not singing. I want to be mistaken.

i'd absolutely love to see either of forbidden or dark angel live at some point in my life
