i got this wonderful capcom arcade scrolling beat em up off ebay.





it is similar to capcoms "king of dragons" and "knights of the round" on the ps2 capcom classics collection vol 2.however this game has combos and more detail as it was released at arcades and on jap ps1/saturn in the mid-late 90s.
in the west its known as warriors of fate.
its a little bit like golden axe.

great thing about this item id that its a box set with a full colour 44 page strategy guide featuring artwork,game info,instructions(all in one)
the japanese really know how to make games appealing and generally have better artwork and packaging.

also there is another jap box set by capcom(in the same style as this) for the original strider game.although i have strider on capcom collection vol 2 and as a bonus disc with strider 2.i might still get this as a collectors item with some profits(once my ebay auctions end).

ive currently been re-playing my fave/the best ever snes RPG:Terranigma.(its truly magical)

after just 1 hr 15mins or so there is this heartbreaking little scene which is on par with the tearjerking moment on Final Fantasy 7(when Aeris dies.)

theres no death or fancy animation but there is some tragic dialogue and a sad song.
of course it looks lame but if you get hooked into these games and see the character development etc its like you become attached.

That game looks amazing, the music is amazing! It reminds me, I own Final Fantasy 6 on the PS1, but I never played it properly, I only bought it because it had a playable demo of FF10. Maybe I should start playing it, it's supposed to be one of the best! I can't imagine anything in the world ever being better than FF7 though, ever.

yeah Terranigma is wondrous.such memorable music throughout.very enchanting.basicly you have to ressurect the world single handedly.
also im 8 hours into final fantasy 4 but its damn hard even with the strategy guide.during battles EVERY baddie attacks after each of your characters commands/moves.rather than you lot,then them lot.
i wanted a break from all the turn based fighting in ff1,2,and 4.
Terranigma is a 'hack n slash' style RPG(think zelda style combat).

i think ff6 will be amazing.its the first one to really combine ancient fantasy with the sci-fi/technology/future elements.
i will play it eventually(after ff4 and 5 are completed)

also John,theres a really emotional,tearjerking film you should watch by John Woo

could'nt agree more final fantasy 7 is probably the best game ever even if it has cost me months of my life. i've completed it several times even seeing how quick i could complete it,then i got a PSP and found out i could get it for that. oh well there goes more of my fucking life, what a sad cunt i am.

FFVII is better than most of real life. Better music, better level design, better characters...

Absolutely. I've been craving Final Fantasy VII again lately, I may have to lock myself away for a few months and just go mental with it, it really is the best thing in the universe.
