It's really hard to choose only five albums, because there are many great albums in 80s. But the first that come to my mind are ( in alphabetical order):

- Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
- Kreator - Pleasure To Kill
- Slayer - Show No Mercy
- Sodom - Persecution Mania
- Testament- The Legacy

And if I am not wrong all of them (except PM) was mentioned already.

Sepultura - Beneath the Remains and Arise
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Kreator - Extreme Aggression
Anthrax - Persistence of Time
Megadeth - Rust in Peace

That's a rough list of my personal favourites. Too tired to think through it properly though.

I can't remember if I've posted in this thread before or not. I'm a bit of a noob at thrash, but these are my favourites in no particular order.

Sabbat - A History of a Time to Come
Slayer - Show No Mercy
Artillery - Terror Squad
Ulysses Siren - Above the Ashes
Metallica - Ride The Lightning
