Re: Rant Thread
Dad's Army and One Foot In the Grave are both highly underrated. As for South Park, it's just brilliant. Fair enough, on average there'll be one bad episode in every three but the fact that it takes a week to do an episode from start to finish allows them to do satire and address current events to an extent that no other animated comedy can. Come to think of it, I can't even think of many Sit Coms that are as willing to address current events as are South Park. Even then, Trey Parker is just generally hilarious as a person so South Park's always going to be funny: it doesn't rely on an army of writers for a start.

My Name Is Earl
I've said it before but I strongly recommend anyone who finds Scrubs funny to watch My Name Is Earl. Not only is it genuinely funny, by American standards; it's moral overtones are also better than those featured in Scrubs. Nadine Velazquez, Alyssa Milano and, to a lesser extent, Jamie Pressly also make it much more worth while than Scrubs.
