I fucking love grindcore. There's no other form of extreme music that is as violent and aggressive as it. When listening to any other style of metal, it's just awesome, but listening to grindcore makes me actually feel like ripping my own face off!

Been delving into the world of grind a bit more lately, anyone suggest a decent selection of albums to get me on my way? And don't say Napalm Death, some stuff a bit less obvious please!

Brutal Truth, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Insect Warfare are already favourites of mine, but I shall definitley check out the other suggestions! What I've heard of Pig Destroyer is pretty awesome.
Why have neither of you mentioned Assuck? I heard "Misery Index" last night and it's phenomonal.

Try Gadget, Splitter, Phobia, Magrudergrind, 324, Watchmaker, Labrat, Afgrund, Cripple Bastards, Venomous Concept. I swear I've said half of these names on here already

I've got some Venomous Concept already, and a Cripple Bastards album on it's way to me. This grind business is boss.
Is "This Comp Kills Facists" worth investing in?

I havn't heard it but judging by some of the artists on there yh. it's more on the powerviolence side than grind but got some kick arse bands on there like Kill the Client and Magrudergrind.

Anyone heard Wormrot - "Abuse"? Fucking awesome album. I think Earache has picked it up for a UK release at some point, but just be naughty and download it for now as it's not officialy available here. Great stuff.

I just saw that they'd made a deal with earache. I'll be sure to pick it up then as I don't do the downloading thing (as I don't have the internet outside of work). I have heard good things.
